Answer the following questions by indicating which response makes the most sense to your own heart. This is not a judgement, but a reflection on instinct. . . .how you “work’ so to speak.  Jot down your answers on a piece of paper to keep track.


  1.  It’s been a long week.  You have spent most of your waking hours doing, doing, doing and now it has all slowed down to a dull roar. Exhaustion is your middle name and you feel pretty depleted.  You need some self care.  What do you do?

    a. Put on some dancing shoes, it’s time to PARTY!

    b. Self care? Sure, right after the dishes that have piled up and the laundry that’s over flowing, etc, etc.  THEN I’ll think about sitting down. . . .maybe.

    c. Take a moment to see what type of self care is needed, appropriate, and fits into the grand scheme of all that is going on.

    d. Get out your journal and reflect on the blessings that have been happening and all the victories over the past week.  Maybe my followers on Insta would be inspired by it?

    e. What can I MAKE out of all this? A painting? A page in my mandala coloring book? A poem? A collage? What colors and stuff can I use to communicate how I’ve been feeling? 

    f. Self care? Ding ding, time to fill up the tub.  More bubbles please. I have been running around so much that sitting still a bath is DEFINITELY in order. If the water gets too cold, add more hot.  Too much computer screen lately so I’m gonna stay here with my paperback novel! Am I hydrated? Am I comfy? I’m about to be!

    g. To heck with all these PEOPLE!! I’m getting my walking shoes/ boots on and spend some time with the trees down by that stream I like to walk.


2. You close your eyes and breathe. You think about yourself. “Who am I? I see myself as. . .”

a. A free woman.  I owe nothing to no  one.  My happiness is my own.  People may try to rain on my parade but I can laugh and dance in the sprinkles!

b. A care taker. I feel so satisfied when everyone is comfortable.  If everyone is relatively happy, then I am too.

c. A wise woman.  I can see all parts of this great machine of life.  I can see how things fit together and I know all things are necessary for completeness. I take the good and the bad for a wholistic approach to this life experience.

d. A seer. I can see goddess in all things.  All is sacred. All is beautiful.  I love to share this perspective with other people who may not see the light that is right in front of them.  I love it when the do finally see it.  It lights me up too! 

e. Very creative.  I can see things from a different perspective than everyone else.   I have a knack for coming up with different ways to do pretty much anything!

f. Compassionate.  I can connect with nearly ANYONE on ANY level.  I have the ability to really understand what someone is say and feeling.  I love connecting with people on a deeper level.

g. A warrior.  I have fought many battles. I have been knocked down, dragged out, and kicked when I was down. But I rise EVERY SINGLE TIME. I can be hurt but I cannot be killed because I KNOW how to fight!


3.  Situations work out best when:

a. I get the freedom to do what I want to do.

b. Everyone gets outta my way and I do it all (Nobody does it right anyway) Maybe then everyone can shut up!

c. We take a moment to consider al parts of the situation and how each does its own part for the whole job.

d. Consider how all parts and people are absolutely priceless for the situation and keep in mind what a blessing it will be when the situation is completed!

e. When the most creative processes are used. It’s never about slapping it together, it is about HOW the work is completed.

f. When we focus on the benefit at the end. Eye on the prize. Resolution is like balm for the soul.

g. We act like a bulldozer. Push, push, push!  The harder we push, the faster it is over! Come on, let’s get it done!

4.  When I was a little girl, I used to pretend.  When I pretended what I would like to be when I grew up it was:

a. An adventurer.  A pirate on the high seas. An explorer in a dense jungle.  Go anywhere to seek new and exciting experiences!

b. A mommy.  All my dolls had a bottle and a nap every day.  I used to make little birthday cakes for them and kissed their booboos when they fell down.

c. A wise lady that would know everything about everything! A guru on a high mountain who people would make great pilgrimages to seek me and ask their questions.

d. A fairy. Dazzled by the world around me finding magick in “ordinary” places. 

e. An artist or a builder.  Someone who can make ANYTHING! Legos and minecraft were totally my jam as a kid.

f. Doctor. I loved making things feel better.  All my toys had a bandaid on them at one time or another.

g. I would pretend that I was running barefoot in the forest.  Talking to trees and making friends with the animals was so much fun! I wanted to have my own bonfire in the yard but mom said no.

The idea here is that we have ALL the archetypes within each of us to call upon at any time we need.  Our own personal intuition and inclinations make some archetypes easier to call upon than others.  Some we flow with so easily, it’s magick. We have all the gifts within us to access any time we want or need to.
